Purpose:

Chemco Plastic Industries Private Limited ("Chemco") is looking for a Finance Enthusiast to support the Leadership on matters assuming significant importance (Evaluating Growth Opportunities, Fund Raising, Organizational Structuring, Divestment & MIS). The candidate shall play a pivotal role in strategic decision making and execution of management's vision. He/she maintains high standards of professionalism, efficiency, personal communication, discretion and independent judgment. The Manager Strategy reports to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategizing with the Leadership team for laying long term financial strategy for the Group (Includes raising classic debt, structured debt, Pre-IPO PE Investment and IPO listing)

- Negotiations and end-to-end execution (in tandem with Corporate Finance team) of incoming PE Investment and IPO listing. Includes strategizing with various external stakeholders (Investment Bankers, Consultants, Lawyers, PE funds, and Leadership team) to achieve the above

- Works closely with the Leadership to evaluate new projects (both India and overseas), conducting viability & risk assessment thereof and strategy for end-to-end implementation

- Works closely with the CFO on secondary & sensitive projects such as external rating, organizational restructuring, systems restructuring and legal strategy

- Strategize and oversee critical / crucial deliverables of Corporate Finance, Commercial & Costing, Systems and Legal (other than routine work of these Departments)

- Assist with preparation of financial reports, MISs and budgets (company-wide and plant-specific)

- Co-develop and nurture key senior relationships in the Industry (senior bankers, PE funds, Investment Banks, Consultants, Senior Lawyers, Senior Government officials, Merchant Bankers, etc.)

- Performs other duties as required and/or assigned from time to time to achieve the aforesaid objectives.

Basic Requirements:

- Bachelors' degree in Commerce / Finance / Business Administration

- Chartered Accountant / MBA from a Tier-I Institute (IIM / ISB / XLRI) with an impeccable academic record

- Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage calendars and effectively maintain records and files.

- Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain professional, friendly, and cordial relationships with stakeholders, including colleagues, board members, rating agencies, Bankers etc.

- Highly resourceful team-player with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.

- Strong computer skills (preferred proficiency in SAP), Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
