Product Managers at Chegg are mission-driven, visionary, analytical and detail-oriented. They care about their impact to education and are able to tie back everything we do to our Students First mission. They rally teams of engineers, data scientists, designers and user researchers around common goals, and get things done using a combination of creativity, communication and people skills.

We are looking for a Staff Product Manager that can evangelize Chegg's learning products to fuel the growth of subscribers and questions with a focus on high quality and scalability.

Responsibilities

- Develop a clear, compelling vision for your product, informed by student stories and needle-moving business impact

- Get buy-in with Chegg's executive leadership on the Why and the What and identify the biggest rocks to build a product around

- Leverage a deeply analytical mindset to ask the right questions and wield both - data and instinct - to make the right short-term trade-offs

- Rally your team of engineers, data-scientists, designers and content around common goals and vision

- Have stellar execution against the roadmap advocating for student-first products and data-informed trade-offs along the way

- Be able to build relationships across the organization, earn trust and elevate the team to its highest potential

- Communicates to inform, debate, share

- Be flexible and adaptable to feedback from all sides and continually take the team forward

Requirements

- Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics degree, or equivalent practical experience or training

- B.S. with at least a minor in Computer Science or related engineering discipline

- 8+ years of work experience, at least 5 as a Product Manager, ideally in a high growth environment

- Led cross-functional teams of 10+ people, and ideally managed a small team of 1- 2 Product Managers

- Preferred qualifications include:

- Experience with the student demographics as an educator or within an ed-tech company

- Experience in creating interactive learning products, and particularly math learning products If this could be you, please apply!
