What We Are Looking For : - We're looking for a Director of Expert Management based in Delhi to lead our Expert Engagement and Acquisition teams across India for providing high-quality academic content through a network of remotely based Subject Matter Experts. - The incumbent would be required to drive the strategic development of a network of expert operations while maintaining high-quality standards for academic content in the internet space. This role presents the opportunity for the incumbent to deeply understand the supply side of tomorrow's education market and upgrade expert operations. This requires deft navigation of intricacies in various academic areas to provide quality services at scale. - The ability to flexibly manage both long-term and immediate, short-term business needs is critical. The incumbent would be leading a dynamic team which provides creative solutions to opportunities that come up and at the same time, provide clear direction to the team to achieve the organization's long-term business goals and plans. Collaborates with business and product stakeholders to build an expert management vision Requirements : - MBA from a top institute, preferably in Operations, Marketing or General Management - 10+ years overall experience in a related field, including 5+ years- experience as a people leader - Proven leadership and organizational skills - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills - A high-level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with SQL and MySQL familiarity and experience preferred. - Outstanding communication, presentation, and influencing skills are relevant to work with all levels of the organization within the India team and global stakeholders - being able to work in a matrix organization. - Prior experience in operations or other cross-functional roles a plus - A passion for education- and doing so at a dynamic, fast-paced company - Able to travel between India offices frequently
