Revenue Assurance:
- Oversee the revenue assurance process to ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenues.
- Identify gaps in the revenue reporting process and work on improvement plans to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor billing and collection processes, identifying discrepancies and addressing any issues to avoid revenue leakage.
Contract Management:
- Review and manage client contracts, ensuring terms are in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with contract terms, including billing, timelines, and deliverables.
- Provide recommendations and insights to senior management based on contract analysis to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present financial reports, including revenue trends, variances, and profitability analysis to senior management.
- Ensure that all financial reports comply with applicable financial reporting standards and regulatory guidelines.
Conduct thorough financial analysis to support business decision-making and improve the company's financial performance.
Data Analytics:
- Use advanced analytics to provide insights into business performance and help management understand trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve financial performance, enhance controls, and ensure efficient operations.
- Work closely with IT and analytics teams to streamline data collection, automate reporting, and enhance the analytics function.
Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure all financial practices comply with relevant statutory requirements and company policies.
- Lead or assist in both internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial documentation.
- Regularly review financial operations to identify potential risks and implement corrective measures to safeguard the organization.
Collaboration with Teams:
- Work closely with the finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure a streamlined approach to revenue recognition, contract management, and reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Performance Metrics:
- Establish key performance metrics for revenue, contract management, and financial reporting functions.
- Regularly track and report these metrics to management to provide visibility into the financial health of the organization.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (1st or 2nd Attempt only).
- Experience: 10 years of experience in revenue assurance, contract management, analytics, and financial reporting.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles, revenue recognition, and financial analysis.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analytics, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder management and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and financial modeling tools.
- Experience in the telecom, IT, or services industry will be an advantage.
