Channel Head - Retail Sales - Mutual Fund (8-13 yrs)

Working with distributors across assigned channels with the end result of continuous and balanced subscription to organization's funds and ensuring adequate mix across all products to achieve set sales targets.

Generating Business

- Devise strategies for driving distributor relationships, sales targets and market share from the assigned channel.

- Lay out the roadmap for broad basing the number of sales points (distributors) by identifying& driving the tie ups with various distributor groups.

- Achieve defined sales targets through a consistent sales effort by establishing annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule team's activities so these targets are met.

- Leading and monitoring the team efficiency, sales target achievement and sales effort through regular call reports, MIS and ensuring the adherence to the sales process of the organization.

- Drive profitability & market share from the sourced AUM by the team.

Building positive relationships with channel partners

- Strengthen working relationships with current channel partners and distributors to entrench the brand and advance sales.

- Developing markets, improving market share as well as taking care of distributor learning across funds and various investment products on offer.

- Maintain & prioritize regular contact with distributors to sustain and improve the relationship.

- Ensure our distributors have a detailed understanding of our funds & products.

- Offer support to channel partners on marketing material, product information, investment strategies, investment outlook and joint calls with prospective investors.

- Coordinate and lead distributor events, training initiatives offered to distributors, Fund manager calls and Investor Education initiatives in your assigned channel and distributor relationships.

- Identify, research, and contact prospective distributors and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business

Sales support & market intelligence

- Collect market & competitor intelligence on investment strategies, engagement efforts and talent and share within the organization.

- Track & rectify any gaps in daily Sales MIS across various products for the channel.

- Inculcate an attitude of continuous learning & improvement within the team. Ensure team is up to date on product knowledge & market information.

- Drive awareness on other organization processes & initiatives in the team.

- Track activities & sales expenses incurred during the month and drive focused products &share feedback with the team.

- Co-ordinate inter departmental efforts for flawless transaction experience for the distributor
