Channel Activation Manager - General Trade (FMCG)
Location: India | National Role | Function: Trade Marketing & Sales Strategy

We're on the lookout for a Channel Activation Manager - General Trade, who will drive national-level GT strategies, optimize trade spends, and elevate brand execution across India's complex and dynamic general trade network.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Execution:
- Lead planning and implementation of GT channel strategies across all brands and regions
- Support NPD launches and share gain programs in line with business priorities
- Anchor last-mile execution plans, ensuring consistent brand activation across outlets
Financial Stewardship:
- Own and manage annual, quarterly, and monthly trade spend budgets
- Track spend efficiency and continuously improve ROI of trade activations
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Supply Chain, Commercial, IT, and Sales teams to ensure flawless execution of channel plans
- Align closely with field force and sales leadership to drive agility and effectiveness
Process Excellence:
- Deep understanding of channel dynamics, category behavior, and shopper triggers
- Create activation blueprints that deliver brand objectives and improve market throughput
What We're Looking For:
- 5-7 years of total experience in FMCG, with at least 2+ years in GT or E-commerce (as a KAM, Category Manager, or Trade Marketer)
- Proven capability in channel strategy, activation planning, and execution
- Sharp business acumen, data-driven mindset, and hands-on problem solver
- Excellent project management, stakeholder handling, and field alignment skills
Educational Qualifications - MBA from a Premier B-School is a must
