Responsibilities: - Identify Government/Defence accounts with a business potential and achieve growth and hit sales targets successfully. - Generate lead and set up meetings with the identified vital Government/Defence departments. - Developing and managing a portfolio of Key Government/Defence departments - Identify the decision-making process, Manage & Align key stakeholders of the identified client. - Estimate the timeline for conversion after consulting all stakeholders - Drive the relationship with the client from lead generation, technical and commercial discussions, negotiations, and collections. - Serve as the single point of contact with the client for all communication - Coordinate with the operations team for the successful execution of the project and timely collection of payments from the client. - Analyzing client data to manage customer relationship What makes you a great addition to the team: - Minimum 5 plus years of experience in sales post-serving defence forces or minimum 8 plus years of experience in defence sector sales - Strong negotiation Skills and ability to follow up on clients. - Strong management, communication, interpersonal, people, and analytical skills. - Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, agile environment - Open to travel to on different locations - Ability to multitask and manage more than one client account. - Good knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word - Comfortable with using customer relationship management software preferably Zoho CRM - Experience working in a start-up/ multi-location manufacturing organization is a plus
