Chaitanya India Fin Credit - Head - Accounts - CA (5-8 yrs)
JD for Accounts Head
Chaitanya India (an NBFC-MFI) is looking for an experienced accounts head, who will be responsible for the entire gamut of accounting, audit, statutory/regulatory compliance, financial reporting, financial planning & forecasting, and as well as for developing and maintain an effective internal control system through policies and procedures.
Ownership on :
Accounting & Bookkeeping:
- Accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, Cost center Accounting and Revenue Recognition
- Lead month-end and year-end closure process
Reporting:
- Monthly / Quarterly / Half Yearly / Annual Financial statements prepared in accordance with Ind AS
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements including publishing of timely monthly financial statements, budget vs Actual with variances, Key metrics analysis reports, and other analytical reports as per requirement
- Regulatory and Industry reporting
Internal Control:
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance as per relevant Acts.
Statutory:
- Manage and comply with local, state, and central government reporting requirements and tax filings
IT Requirements:
- Interface with IT team in getting all deliverables on ERP/software from accounts and finance standpoint
- Conduct periodic reviews of the systems and process and give feedback / inputs to IT team for enhancement of better accounting and financial reporting
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant
- Experience as Head of accounts - Between 8 to 10 years
- Proven working experience as Accounts and Finance Head including leading a team
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures including Ind AS
- Experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year end close process (finalization of accounts), and preparation of financial statements
- Excellent Microsoft Excel, accounting software user and administration skills
