JOB DESCRIPTION : - We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our Consulting practice at Bangalore. You will be responsible for hunting for new opportunities for Chainalytics services in the Indian and APAC regions. - You will need to work closely with Chainalytics leadership to develop the business and embrace the challenge of establishing relationships and setting up meetings with new clients. You- ll need to have exceptional interpersonal skills, high customer centricity, work prioritization skills and attention to detail. Managing calendars across internal and external participants will require diplomacy and drive. RESPONSIBILITIES / DELIVERABLES : Lead generation : - Outbound communication per prospect (email or presentation or verbal pitch) - Cold calling - making outbound calls to prospects to secure meetings with Chainalytics sales leaders - Meet quotas for cold calls, meeting appointments and qualified leads - Participate in client calls and take detailed notes - Good to do - stay informed of market/industry/prospect news and events to identify business opportunities Prospect Management : - Create/maintain prospects list incl. prospect information, latest communication updates, etc - Maintain sales pipeline information using CRM software - Build business relationships with current / potential clients - Create reports for monitoring the progress on leads generation, conversions etc Sales collateral development : - Familiarise with firm's credentials and services/capabilities and be able to speak through these to prospects - Update and maintain a set of collateral materials specific to industry or geography - these include case studies, services related material etc - Support sales proposal building by providing required material to the proposal owner (these request typically require 1 day turnaround time) - Drive the development of case studies of new projects completed by the consulting practice Other BD activities : - Ideate, validate and execute BD campaigns (with industry councils, research firms etc) - Collaborate with internal global BD team on BD activities for the India and APAC markets SKILLS : - Impeccable integrity, passion for supply chain consulting, creative, and energetic - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills Communication : - Excellent verbal communication - to call, establish connect and interact with potential customers - Strong writing skills - to write in a clear and concise manner - Energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanour. Persuasive and goal-oriented Computer skills : - Strong MS PPT and Excel skills - Preferred - knowledge of other CRM/Salesforce tools EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS : Lead generation (min. 3 years) - Demonstrated and proven results for lead generation and prospect management for management consulting industry - Cold calling experience; outbound sales experience, knowledge of sales process from initiation to close Industry experience (min. 3 years) : - Lead generation in the supply chain management services/products space - Business development in the India and APAC markets Education : - Bachelor's degree - MBA in Marketing/Operations/Supply Chain Management Reside in or be willing to relocate to Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
