KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -

Vendor/Business Partner Management

- Negotiating rates with the existing suppliers to generate value for the organization

- New vendor development as per business requirement to ensure sustainability and mitigate supply risk

- Spend optimization to get lowest possible weighted average input cost

- Assisting new product development teams to identify product innovation possibilities and ensuring timely support to new product developments and commercialization of final products

- Evaluating and managing suppliers- performance and drive continuous improvement

- Keeping track of material consumption patterns, replenishment lead time, demand planning and forecasting and mitigating the risks in case of deviations

- Ensuring Service

- Coordinating with vendors and regional warehouse team to facilitate timely deliveries of materials to warehouse

- Responsible for resolution of all issues related to material quality, specifications, revalidations, damages/losses and commercial issues

- Assisting warehouses in efficient management of inventories and drive lead time reduction

- Assisting finance team in working capital management by negotiating payment terms with vendors and Legal Team for ensuring supply agreement with the suppliers and timely renewal of Contracts.

System & Process - Comply with laid down systems and processes of Procurement function and set-up new systems & fine tune existing one to meet requirements of the business

- Function as a team player to implement end-to-end solutions across the supply chain, including interactions with the demand planning, commissaries/warehouses, logistics, R&D and vendors & other external agencies.

Candidate Profile

- 2-5 years of relevant experience in Food industry in the field of Sourcing & Procurement

- High on energy
