This role Reports to the Nashik Cluster Head - HR and interact on a periodic basis informing him about the overall IR advancement . Efficiency of the plant with respect to productivity and safety, any updates on the labor/union front. Any approval related to IR processes. Nature of interaction could be one-on-one, telephonic or through emails. Apart from these, there is a formal meeting in the form of a review meeting.

Job Purpose :

Support and provide input on various IR issues, proactively access the IR situation and provide input from different sources to management. Act as a SPOC for IR and compliance activities. Support to enable employee engagement, development and productivity in the plant. With Zero man-day loss due industrial unrest.

Key Accountabilities :

1. Strategic Planning :

- Provide support to the long-term strategic goals for Cluster IR, in line with Global HR

2. Training for the workmen :

- To design and develop a training module for workmen and deliver training for the development of Workmen.

- Engage with the team to motivate and foster teamwork, understand and address their concerns and provide a collaborative environment for them to develop

3. IR and Contract Workforce Management :

- Support discussions and negotiations with the Unions in terms of different settlements and drive a positive IR environment.

- Manage and review the contract workforce by engaging with the contractors, discussing the requirements as per the work, evaluating the contractors, solving contract workforce grievances, etc.

- Manage Mathadi workforce.

4. Stakeholder Management :

- Manage the public relations for the factory with all external and internal stakeholders like local government authorities, villagers, social workers, local politicians, labour commissioner, factory inspector, local police etc to develop mutually beneficial relationships and manage crisis effectively

Educational qualifications : Graduate + MBA/PGDM/PGDBA - HR

Relevant experience : 8+ total years of experience with at least 6 years of demonstrated IR experience .

Necessary Functional Skills required for this Job :

- Industrial Relations

- Knowledge of Statutory requirements in the area

- Employee welfare.

- Contract Labor management.

- Employee communication.

- Liaison with different authorities.

- Mathadi management

- Demonstrable capability for strategic thinking

- Assessment techniques
