YOUR ROLE :

Do you have the ability and the willingness to serve and deliver to all our customers with a lot of passion. Can you look outside a box and see you are an important part of the complete freight forwarding chain and do you have the social skills to work and communicate with a team? WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? :

- Create account plans & pricing strategies, develop total transportation solutions; sales & client management, transportation management, shipment planning & optimization within the Global Parameters outlined.

- Develop & implement marketing strategies using current market information, competitive & economic conditions & innovative programs while growing profitable revenue streams for Gateway Consoles.

- Responsible for developing comprehensive logistics & distribution strategic plan which will drive optimal customer service & profitability.

- Ensure all regulatory & compliance measures are met within global guidelines.

- Identify & implement best in class technology, infrastructure suitable to the scope & size of the business along with disciplines that underlie a supply chain operation.

- Develop Global implementation of distribution best practices such as systems integration & optimization, inventory control, demand planning & optimization.

- Drive operational excellence & best practices across the network by reducing cost.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? :

- Graduate or Postgraduate in any stream

- Candidate should have minimum 12 years experience in freight forwarding industry.

- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

- To be prepared to learn all aspects of teams work with desire and ability to provide cover and assistance on a regular basis.

- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

- Decision making

- Project Management

- Numerical skills.

- High degree of organizational & administrative skills and ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.

- Good team player.

- Keen sense of responsibility, solid professional standards, excellent track record of dependability.

- Being strategic

- Good product knowledge

- Honesty and integrity.

- Must have administrative experience such as data entry, managing data driven report processes or detailed processes that have a lot of components to manage

- Ability to work in high paced, challenging environment

- Must have the ability to multitask and manage details of different processes efficiently

- Proactive, Focused & dedicated with exceptional analytical skills

- Quick learner and able to take on new tasks with a short learning curve
