Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provides visionary and strategic leadership to Museum in line with the mission and goal(s) of the organization and Contribute and enhance the value proposition of the importance of a children museum in community.
- Increase the visibility of the museum in external environment
- Knowledge of Museum Planning, Fundraising, Administration of Museum and is confident in detailing the part, Museum plays in community. Is competent and comfortable in articulating in articulating this vision.
- Provides leadership to the internal operations and programs ensuring a well-managed day to day operations
- Works closely with Board of Directors, Executive Committee and apprises in quarterly board meetings, executive committee meetings and other operational meetings
- Good understanding of Financial acumen along with system and processes related to Financial domain.
- Good understanding and hands on exposure of handling statutory and regulatory compliances for a museum.
- Leads the organization and involved in resource development, creating new relations with future donors and prospective supporters
- Manages to juggle multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment. Flexible personnel with details to attention and accuracy as competency traits
- Supports and maintain high degree of staff morale with ability to communicate effectively, representing the organization both internally and externally.
