1. Align the International Collaborations objectives with the vision and mission of the University.

2. Shall represent MIT-WPU at various international platforms and visit various institutions and Universities to network / collaborate with a view to foster cooperation and understanding between both entities.

3. Act as an entrepreneur for end to end activities of the International Collaborations vertical.

4. Invite delegates / professors from foreign universities to visit MIT WPU to present their lectures and presentations to students.

5. Explore, identify and finalize programs for areas of collaboration in the domains primarily - Students Global Immersion programs/Faculty Capacity enrichment programs/ forge alliances through formal MOUs.

6. Create opportunities to collaborate and network with international institutions and universities to give international exposure to around four thousand students every year.

7. Work closely with the ProVC and Dean to create opportunities for foreign student and invite around one thousand students every year for various programs at MIT-WPU through student exchange programs.

8. Plan and manage international marketing, branding and promotions budget. Work closely with the Marketing & Communications to develop supporting field initiatives.

9. Responsible for the overall budgeting and controlling of the expenses.

10. Evaluate international opportunities and conduct workshops for students in consultation with the VC / EP to create awareness of benefits of international exposure for the students.

11. Support Executive President relationships with international government bodies including: - Foreign Embassies and High Commissions - Ministries of Education/Higher Education - Relevant Ministries (Health, Foreign Affairs) - Scholarship Bodies - Accrediting/Recognition Authorities

12. Explore and utilize MIT alumni database based across the globe.

13. Ensure pre-departure orientation and/or in-country orientation of students.

14. The orientation should include all of the following issues: program administration, communications, relevant university facilities, public transportation, health/safety, program rules/behavioral expectations, group dynamics, the host country educational system, academic expectations, cross-cultural adaptation, cultural differences

15. Establish a leadership role and positive group dynamic, provide assistance to students as needed, serve as the intercultural facilitator for students (liaison between home and host cultures)

16. Responsible to build the team of competent staff and manage the staff competently, confidently and professionally including monitoring their performance and providing support, guidance and training where necessary.

17. Promote social initiatives at various levels across the globe.

18. Any other tasks as and when assigned.
