- The incumbent will be responsible for primary and secondary research in the sales and services area on defined topics and areas relevant for the industry strategic decisions, training and development of professionals in the area. One would be accountable to conduct, write and publish Industry relevant research and white paper.
- The individual will also be involved in developing tools and content for sales and services academy.
- The role holder will manage, collaborate and work with external partners on content development for the academy. One would work on varied initiatives as and when assigned.
- Work closely with CLO and provide support in developing framework and strategy for sales and services academy.
Candidate Profile
Essential attributes -
- Doctorate/ MBA in Marketing or Organizational Behavioral area, having marketing as a major subject of study at Post Graduation level from Premier Business School/ Universities
- Work experience criteria : 3 - 8 years Post MBA or 0 - 5 years Post PhD (MBA from Premier Business School Desired, not essential. Knowledge, Skill, Attitude and Role Fit is more important)
- Thorough understanding of sales and services domain
- Published in national and international journals/conferences/business magazines of repute
- Industry experience in consulting firms in sales and services domain of minimum 3 years
- At ease with use of technology for content design
- Good command of written English and grammar
- Command over research methodologies and analysis both quantitative and qualitative
- Knowledge of statistics and analytical tools
Desired attributes -
- Knowledge of various technology tools for developing content
- Exposure to assessments and concepts of competency and competency framework
- Experience of content development for executive workshops
- Experience of driving long term people development initiative
- Experience of driving virtual development interventions and training workshops
Key Responsibility Areas:
Some of the key responsibilities areas (not limited to these) would be the following:
- Writing White Papers
- Preparing thought leadership content
- Conducting research for giving insights to businesses in the area of sales and services
- Developing tools for assessments, training and skill development in line with the competency framework of the sales and services academy
- Ideate and develop content for other innovative products for the academy
- Managing Alliances with external partners in context of Sales and Service Academy
The successful applicant will be a highly motivated individual with good communication skills; will have a proven publication record and strong understanding of sales and services domain in Corporates. The individual will possess the ability to work independently and in teams.
