The role includes: Job Description : a. Supporting the investment process, including: - Conducting diligence through research, customer calls, investor calls, etc. - Supporting the investment process once the decision to invest has been made - Interfacing with lawyers and other external entities as needed - Proactive sourcing with the guidance of an investment manager b. Exploring new sectors for investments, including: - Analyzing and assessing new markets to help build new investment theses for CIIE - Conducting market research through interviews, conferences, and other sources - Writing internal reports, blog posts, and articles on these new sectors - Building network of experts in key areas: - Managing relationships with experts in the fields of interest - Finding new experts that are relevant to CIIE's fields of interest for investment Desired Skills and Experience : - 2 - 3 years of work experience in a related field, (e.g., early stage VC, entrepreneurship, management consulting, etc.) ideally with a background in management consulting or banking, coupled with a technical background or significant technical experience - Previous investing experience preferred but not mandatory. - Extremely passionate and excited by the intersection of large markets and emerging technologies - Graduate from a Premier Institute in Engineering, Computer Science or Maths - Well versed with a good business toolkit and has strong critical thinking skills; has a strong grasp of technology and tech business models - Creative problem solver, exemplary interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic - Self starter and a team player The Apply Button will redirect you to website.
