Position Summary
One of the key areas of CSF's work is supporting Governments with design, roll-out and management of critical education initiatives. In this regard, CSF has been working closely with the Central Government and key States on their reform priorities.
Programme Manager, Government Advisory role involves working with senior policymakers, administrators and key partners engaged in systemically important work in Centre and State Government. It is for people who strongly believe in the role of the government to effectively scale innovations and create large-scale change.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing project management support to government officials for implementing key strategic initiatives
Synthesise learning from large scale reform initiatives across multiple states
Coordinate the preparation of policy briefs, fact sheets, background papers/ presentations and other targeted materials for meetings and conferences
Support different issue teams at CSF in government engagements
Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor's or equivalent degree required. Strong preference for people with advanced degree in public policy/ administration/ management and strong work experience
Strong project management skills
Keenness to work with government
Strong analytical, presentation and problem solving skills
Compensation:
Remuneration will be competitive with Indian philanthropy pay scales and will depend upon the candidate's experience levels.
