Center Head/Site Head for mid sized IT product MNC This leadership role oversees Software Product Development teams focusing on developing of enterprise wide software products and tools leveraging cutting edge technologies. It is responsible for India operations directly leading a ~200+ member development team including Directors, Technical Architects, and Engineering Managers, Software Developers, and Quality Engineering experts, while collaborating with business leaders across multiple solution areas within a matrix organizational structure. As a senior leader, this role will leverage strategic vision to drive innovation and foster a highenergy, team-oriented work environment. Manage the subsidiary as a cost centre( according to the KPI and Legal Entity). Major Responsibilities :&nbsp; - Provides strong hands-on leadership and mentoring to highly technical product development teams. - Ensure continuous improvement in the product as well as the product- s compliance to market needs wrapped around cloud. - Responsible for the complete aspects of India office including finance, ROC, Legal, HR and ensure smooth operation. - Manages product development lifecycle (owns full development responsibility for and lead new initiatives for assigned products) and ensures stability, compatibility, scalability, interoperability and performance of our software products. - Drives the achievement of product development milestones by avoiding or solving complex problems by harnessing expertise across multiple technologies (Java/J2EE, Big Data, etc.) across domains (Originations Management, etc.) in financial services industry. - Partners with relevant stakeholders to attract talent, set goals, measure and reward performance. - Builds and maintains a healthy and productive culture founded on adherence to our corporate values, timely and accurate workforce communications, activities focused on building morale, camaraderie and teamwork. - Engages in business travel as required. Operation Responsibilities: - Comply with worldwide processes, standards and group policies. Drive continuous process improvement for the India Team. - Follow and implement R&amp;D DEV processes and contribute to the continues improvement. - VP is responsible for the management and administration of the local entity as a cost centre and legal entity including HR processes, finance, product development, IT and quality assurance. - VP is also responsible for the strategic planning of his/her entity. Ideal Experience -&nbsp; - 15+ years of experience in enterprise software product development in a global organization, with hands-on development experience in Java/J2EE, IOT and Cloud technologies and involving complex software solutions that have been successfully delivered to customers. - Bachelor- s/Master's in Computer Science or related disciplines. - Strong experience in leading geographically distributed development teams and expertise in managing high performing team(s), with a track record of getting things done - on budget and on schedule. - Ability to define and analyse numerous product metrics, ability to think strategically and know when and how to apply each in order to influence the success of the product for opportunities. - Knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, secure code coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations. - Excellent communication, analytical and creative problem-solving skills; ability to articulate the design walkthrough with architects and discuss strategy/requirements with teams. - Ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, prioritize and show initiative in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
