Innovation/NPD Manager Role IB FBT (Food & Beverage) Reporting into : Head - IB Key Deliverables :- 1. Innovation Agenda : a. Responsible for identification and delivery of incremental/revolutionary and scalable ideas to drive future growth b. Lead and influence a cross functional team of key stakeholders (including local and global stakeholders) c. Lead the concept development process and commercialisation of new rollout process d. Lead the overall product attribute mix development (Includes concept, content, pack, design, brand proposition, etc.) 2. Project Leadership : a. Responsible for managing the governance of each project and drive timely decision making and ensure adherence to project objectives b. Manage all innovation project timelines. This involves managing a cross functional team to deliver timely results c. Work closely with research agencies to ensure smooth planning and execution, so that all concept, product, packaging and pricing decisions are taken appropriately d. Responsible for optimum project profitability and innovation development costs (avoid wasteful iterations) 3. Commercialization : a. Responsible for executing great product, packaging, and marketing communication plans by collaborating with internal and external partners b. Responsible for setting out clear launch marketing objectives in line with the growth expectations that will enable delivery on the project objective c. Drive scientific decision making on type of scale of marketing activity that help deliver on launch marketing objectives thereby helping optimize launch marketing budgets d. Partner the development of world-class launch marketing big idea & 360-degree big idea execution that further helps optimize launch marketing budgets and improve marketing ROI e. Work closely with the legal & regulatory teams to ensure all product & marketing claims are compliant & factual f. Work with a continuous Improvement mind-set for developing processes, fixing gaps, finding the right partners etc. 4. NPD Process Championship : a. Drive AMS adoption in IB b. Stay in tune with cutting edge futuristic developments in the world of packaging design, advertising and technology to imbibe learnings into innovation projects c. Work closely with external research, design & innovation agencies and internal liquid technical teams to manage productivity within the approved budgets at each stage of the NPD process
