JOB SUMMARY : Provide leadership to Caterpillar Finance India's compliance activities which includes creating and managing a compliance program which ensures compliance with all the regulatory requirements (both under local laws and other global regulatory requirement) that apply to Caterpillar Finance India's business. The compliance requirements largely include requirements mandated by the Reserve Bank of India, Indian Companies Act as well as other India laws, global regulatory compliance requirements that apply to Caterpillar Finance India as a subsidiary of an US company, policies and procedures mandated by FPD Division and Caterpillar Inc.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Lead Caterpillar Finance India's compliance activities mandated under local laws, which include ensuring strict compliance with all the regulatory requirements mandated by the Reserve Bank of India, Indian Companies Act and such similar Indian regulatory bodies.

- Lead Caterpillar Finance India's compliance activities mandated by United States Regulations and other global regulations that generally apply to Caterpillar Finance India's business including but not limited to data privacy requirements, anti-money laundering, export controls, Antitrust etc.

- Lead Caterpillar Finance India's compliance with FPD policies and procedures, Caterpillar Inc's policies and procedures as may be mandated from time to time.

- Implement required compliance processes and procedures, including accurate and timely filing of all returns and other compliance reports as required under local laws, Enterprise policy and procedure and where appropriate or other regulatory authorities.

- Work with various departments within Caterpillar Finance India in the development and maintenance of standard compliance internal control procedures, pursuant to policy and procedure requirements from Enterprise and local regulation.

- Supports the monitoring process of the effectiveness of Enterprise and local regulatory policies and procedures, as appropriate.

- Lead Caterpillar Finance India's corporate secretarial functions which include conduct of timely Board Meetings, Shareholders meetings, preparation of agendas, resolutions, minutes of meetings etc.

- Plan and organize local compliance program communication and training as needed.

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors as necessary.

- Support the planning and execution of the Corporate Business Practice Review process as appropriate.

- Lead/participate in the Continuous Improvement projects of Caterpillar Finance India from time to time.
