Vision of Role: PROFESSIONALS DESIRED FROM CONSUMER ELECTRONICS INDUSTRY

The Individual playing this role will be functioning as the Strategic Business/ GTM lead of a new Business Unit that comprises of Android OTT (and Hybrid) product and other future Smart products .

The role entails

1) Design and execute the go-to-market sales and marketing strategy (largely B2B focused with some B2C efforts) focused around the new product roadmap(s)

2) Drive strategic alliances and partnerships (External and internal)

3) Lead the product development and lifecycle and anchor cross functional team (R&D, Engineering & Supply Chain) to deliver product per the specs and in time

a. Interact with all Internal and external stakeholders, and conceptualize the product roadmap while addressing technology, and, project management

4) Managing the PnL - Developing annual budgets with multi-scenario sales/pricing forecasts basis market situation

The BU Head will be responsible to evolve the structure which will propel and sustain as a seamless Solution Providing platform for Customers, Partners and Stakeholders (both, Internal & External)

While the role is multi-faceted, the following are the primary areas of focus that will be expected of this Individual.

- Strategy and technical roadmap

- Ensure revenue growth is achieved in a responsible and profitable manner

- Must be extremely Techno Business savvy and able to understand and develop a synergy between Technology, Operations and Business

- Strategic GTM and Stakeholder Development:

- Drive GTM and strategic sales (both product solutioning and sales) with key accounts across - Operators and MSOs; ISPs, etc.

- Build business relationships with outside partners to co-develop the product roadmap (e.g. content partners)

Preferred Profile:

- Candidates that are entrepreneurial in nature, with high energy, charisma and fantastic communication and are not afraid of building an entire system from scratch are the kind of Individuals that will crack this job

- Experience having held P&L centric roles with significant experience in a leadership capacity

- Someone who has worked in both, a B2B and a B2C business model successfully would be preferred

- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and discuss intangible concepts and/ or solutions

- The right Individual who should display the ability to meet with and convince multiple sets of diverse stakeholders and leave a strong impression borne out of the Individuals ability to be assertive, confident and speak from complete conviction as the face and voice of the BU
