Category Marketing Manager (4-8 yrs)

JioMart, a part of Reliance Retail is in search of a vibrant Category Marketing Manager to join our Marketplace team and help us continue our tradition of unparalleled customer satisfaction.

Reporting into the Category Leader (Marketplace), this is a role responsible for -

1. Identifying and promoting key products/brands/categories

2. Identifying new trends and translating those into merchandizing plans

3. Drive discoverability and conversion of key categories

4. Managing the setup and presentation of products and categories on the JioMart marketplace

5. Use data to propose new strategies, to manage categorization, product display order, landing pages, product features, and cross sell/upsells

6. Own marketing promotions calendar

7. Define customer acquisition and retention strategies based on data dive deep

Accountability

1. Traffic and conversion funnel for the respective categories being managed.

2. Merchandizing calendar ownership in partnership with Category and Marketing teams.

3. Merchandizing theme proposals basis latest trends, seasons, product launches, etc.

4. Dive deep to identify optimization opportunities from Merchandizing point of view.

5. Drive quality and creativity on for category merchandizing.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience

1. Education: MBA/Postgraduate from a Tier-1 B-School

2. Industry Experience: 4 years

3. Experience in the similar role - Min. 4 years with a leading ecommerce organization

Preferable Requirements/Traits

1. Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.

2. High attention to detail.

3. Experience with creative development process - from concept to execution in partnership with agencies/internal teams

4. Experience with using Excel to maintain and analyse data on a regular basis

5. Experience working with cross functional teams to drive specific objectives

6. Demonstrated ability to take data driven decisions for customer facing functions

7. Being able to manage multiple projects and co-ordinate with internal teams with a strong focus on delivering results.
