Category Manager:

As a Category Manager in Softlines, you will focus on delivering a world-class customer experience and exceptional sales and margin growth for the sub-categories that you are responsible for as we rapidly expand and grow our selection from around the world.

The person who joins this team in this position must share our passion and commitment for serving our customers.

This ideal candidate should have experience in forging and building brand relationships. Some understanding of planning product cycles and selling online is preferred. The right candidate will be flexible, action and results oriented, self-starting and have strong analytical skills. He or she must have a proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast-paced environment. He should be entrepreneurial with the confidence to make independent, data-driven decisions.

The candidate must demonstrate the ability to succeed at:

- Team-building and management

- Planning and forecasting

- Defining and implementing strategies

- Driving an online business.

- He or she must be able to develop clear thinking and business rationale for new features & services to bring customers ease-of-use and innovation with a razor sharp focus on solving for the customer while driving operational excellence in execution. The candidate must be an effective communicator in working with some of must have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.

Vendor Manager:-

About the Role:

As a Vendor Manager, you will focus on delivering a world-class customer experience and exceptional sales and margin growth for the sub-categories that you are responsible for as we rapidly expand and grow our selection from around the world.

He or she will be responsible for signing the right mix of vendors, adding unique local selection for our client India,smart pricing, driving margin improvements and delivering top notch customer experience.

Responsibilities

This person will have responsibility for:

- Building selection and Vendors: Will be responsible for determining customer market needs, growing selection across sub-categories, brands and use cases, managing vendor partners, negotiating and optimizing vendor terms and getting support for marketing campaigns.


- Pricing and Demand generation: Responsible for pricing and demand generation. This includes working with other members on the vendor management team as well as with our member acquisition team, marketing and product management team to come up with innovative online and offline promotions and site features to improve customer experience.

- Channel Management: To work closely with our online and offline partners and customers to ensure that we are keenly listening to the voice of the customer and delighting them through selection, pricing and product features.

- Business planning and communication to senior management: Develop a short-term and long-term plan for growth and report to Senior Management on a regular basis on the state of key top line and bottom-line metrics and risk factors.

- Scale a fast growing business. This will include liaising with the global our client community to drive innovation and share best practice.
