PURPOSE :
- Gain and generate consumer and sport insights
- Assist in executing the category direction
- Work with all functions to deliver product concepts
- Create ranges under supervision to achieve category goals
Key Result Areas:
- Analyse sportswear performance
- Experience market, consumer and retailer needs to be able to create industry leading products
- Support the creation team to implement given (Concept to Consumer) direction for relevant ranges
- Lead multiple categories of products related to sportswear for India Market. Build assortment plans by channel, which give clear product direction and information to the operational departments
- Responsible for business growth, identifying the market potential, analysing the demand to decide and develop categories.
- Analyse the market, growth and competitors to prioritize categories to invest.
- Do the stakeholder management by working in a cross-functional environment with Supply, Production, Retail, Online teams along with Brand Manager, Merchandiser and Commercial managers.
- Ensure product range and all decisions deliver on strategic vision for the brand and category while delivering against the business plan.
- Prepare and interpret sales in order to provide and execute against resultant recommendations and actionable strategies
- Collaboration with Retail Planning, Ecommerce, and Operations team members to execute seasonal plans and store experience.
- Provide data and ensure accuracy of all product related materials to operations, marketing and ecommerce.
Qualifications:
- Completed university degree preferably in Marketing & Business administration or Sports management -
- 8+ years of work experience. Previous experience in the sporting goods industry preferred
- Knowledge of the respective sports marketing category
