Our client is a fast growing cement firm keen to expand its marketing team.
Job Responsibilities -
- Will be responsible for establishing an integrated category plan to reinforce company's presence as total solution provider in the building material space.
- He will need to understand market trends and consumer choices to develop new categories /product for meeting customer and unlocking customer needs.
- The Manager of Category Management responsibilities would include driving strategy, planning, top line, budget management & bottom line for above.
- He will have end to end responsibility for new category / product development and new category/product launches.
- He will drive innovation in the value chain by collaborating with stakeholders i.e. Vendors/Suppliers, R&D Team, field marketing Teams.
- He will have to analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends.
- He will manage and define the product category life-cycle from strategic planning to tactical - activities, creating 1 & 3-year product road maps, securing executive buy-in.
Candidate Profile
- The candidate should be a MBA in Sales & Marketing from a Tier 1 institute with 3-5 years of experience OR 4-7 years of experience, from a Tier 2 institute.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Category / Product Management, Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy, Category Management, Product Management, experience a must.
- Should have led NPDs & new product launches.
- Should have thorough understanding & experience of ATL, media planning.
- Excellent communication skills,
- Ability to manage and negotiate with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
