Category Manager - Manufacturing (10-15 yrs)

- Responsible to prepare strategy for the passive parts globally and managing the strategic relationship with suppliers and internal stake holders like OCP and OFP.

- Responsible market evolution in terms innovation, technology upgrade , market dynamic and supplier selection.

- Acts as the key interface between organization & supplier facilitating bi-directional communication on major topics that are either recurrent or spanning multiple entities

Responsibilities:

- Contribute, support and implement global G2 category procurement strategies at regional level in alignment with global commodity director and EE market VP

- Define SBO strategy for G2/ G5 Category and responsible for implementation globally

- Establish and decide the local supplier panel in alignment with global strategies

- Accountable for overall operational performance for G5 category globally (cost, quality, continuity of supply, supplier risk management)

- Monitor the G5 market through constant benchmarking in order to continuously improve costs, quality, delivery and technology

- Analyze spend in assigned spend categories and define the annual saving forecast, identifying risks and opportunities

- Drive implementation of the saving action plan to achieve the assigned annual cost saving target including change of suppliers and QVE

- Manage Supplier Relationship at regional level, monitor KPIs and setting necessary corrective actions.

- Plan and hold business reviews to monitor performance

- Negotiate long-term contracts ( MSA , LTA etc. )

- Support Quality Department and Operations in case of quality issue for resolution and quality claim settlement.

- Communicate effectively and manage relationships with relevant internal stakeholders

Experience

- 10-15 years' experience in passive component, Fan relays and Fuses category will be required

- Purchasing manager certification will be preferable
