Category Manager - Languages Vertical - Media House

Job Description :

1) This individual is going to be a strong liaison between our business and supply team and is ideally a super strong ops person and who has experience managing relations with multiple teams and building a category on their own.

- We need very strong entrepreneurial zest in this person, and ideally a Category Head/ex-entrepreneur/team lead person would be the right fit for this.

2) The language vertical includes all things creating and translating and hence, coming from a content background or a similar business in a big popular agency or big new age media platform would be the right person to bet on.

- An ideal person would be someone who heads languages at big media houses like Times Internet/ABP/India Today and has been working with teams of over 100+ multilingual writers and editors and has the understanding and knowledge of how content is created at scale in different languages.

- Companies like OneIndia, Lipi, Devanagari, Multibhashi would be ideal to source such candidates from. The language part is a strictly must segment.

3) At all points, very strong communication skills will be needed to build this vertical and the person needs to be super hands-on.

- Ideally someone less than 35 years of age would be ideal. We need this person to be super high on energy.
