Category Manager - Home & Personal Care Segment - FMCG (6-10 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities :-

- Own and manage the product development life cycle by working closely with Marketing, Procurement, Operations, R&D, Quality functions

- Develop Brand Positioning, Identity & Architecture for consistent brand development

- Develop yearly category business plan, marketing plan, quarterly and monthly forecasts

- Coordinate with Sales & Supply Chain for ensuring achievement of monthly, quarterly and yearly business objectives

- Plan & Implement Brands Marketing Plan For Achievement Of Business Objectives

- Collaborate with Sales on development on trade marketing plans for the category

- Identify Innovation & Renovation Opportunities and Implement the same thru cross functional coordination

- Identify brands research needs and implement the same

- Develop the brands communication strategy and implement the same thru Offline & Online Media

- Collaborate with E Commerce For Performance Marketing & Brand Development On The Platforms

- Plan & Implement Brands Promotional Needs Thru Active Collaboration With Cross Functional Teams

- Track Brands Performance on business metrices, plan and implement appropriate actions to achieve business objectives

- Track Brands Product Quality Thru Secondary Research & Product Benchmarking & Collaborating with Quality

- Track Brands Equity Health, Plan Appropriate Actions To Manage Equity

- Manage Category Marketing Budgets & Play An Important Role In Influencing Trade Marketing Spends

- Manage External Vendor Relationships Like Creative Agency, Media Agency, Digital Agency, Printers, Event Mgmt Co's etc..

Educational Qualifications:-

- Should be MBA with specialization in Marketing

Experience Required:-

- 6+ years prior experience in a reputed company, preferably in consumer or FMCG company as a brand manager with experience of Activation, Innovation & Equity Management

Functional Skills Required:-

- Brand Management

- Understanding Of Syndicated Data Analysis (Nieslen, IMRB etc,,)

- Market Research Fundamentals

- Understanding Of Brand Equity & Strategy

- Strong Execution Skills

- Communication Development

- Commercial Acumen & Marketing Finance

- Project management

- Detail orientation

- Understanding of manufacturing processes

- Understanding of demand planning process

- Excel and data analysis

- Presentation skills
