Role summary:

Being the Manager, Insurance is about building a value centric platform for the business, the partners and the users for specific category. This would require you to work closely with various cross functional teams to scale and improve the experience, product features and services that help increase user satisfaction, improve customer experience and grow the category.


The Category Manager serves in a pivotal role, building and managing the respective category business. The role demands a deep understanding of market segment and consumer needs/behaviour, and leading strategic and tactical initiatives for the growth of the category

Roles and responsibilities?

- Deep understanding of the markets, trends and consumer behaviour, to contribute to the category strategy

- Overlook end-to-end execution of category growth activities including CRM and marketing campaigns with multiple teams internally/all category related marketing activities and user communication

- Manage partner relationships with ensuring stability of the current process and working on building on innovative products in the category

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams- data science, engineering, marketing and analytics to lead category specific initiatives

- Work with internal teams including operations, product and engineering to optimize key category metrics

- Active monitoring of the commercial performance for the category and strong understanding of regulatory landscape

Skill Set required :

- 4-6 years of experience in a Fintech/tech company

- Tier 1 MBA, Tier 1 engineering

- Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.

- Hustler /Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done is a must

- An entrepreneurial drive to open up new opportunities of growth and strong execution rigour to follow it up

- Prior experience of working with highly skilled cross- functional teams

- Passion for solving problems creatively, starting small, failing fast, and applying your learnings
