About the Client :

Backed by an Indian e-commerce giant, the client is revolutionizing the way to make mobile payments in India. From UPI payments to recharges, money transfers to online bill payments. The client aims to provide a payment solution that is way better than Internet Banking and offers the safest and fastest online payment experience in India.

Background about the Role :

- The role involves a complete understanding of the Indian general Insurance space, with good exposure to products and processes.

- As a Business Head the candidate will have a complete P&L responsibility to manage the sachet product category.

- Closely interacting with all the insurance companies and then managing the top line for the product through company's sales channels.

Following are some of the key pointers around which the responsibilities are going to revolve :

1. Formulate business strategy for the channel

2. Forge strategic partnerships with leading General Insurance companies

3. Drive innovation through differentiated product constructs

4. Manage all regulatory & compliance interaction with IRDA / Insurance cos & internal teams

5. Responsible for the overall growth of the category & customer engagement.

Role reports into the Head of Insurance Business and is based out of their office in Mumbai.

Candidate in alliances/product/strategy role in general insurance companies.
