Category Manager -Resturant Food

- Responsible for product category management, Brand Communication strategy, maintain category Intergrity, Quality, Presence & Performance across all business channels in line with a Business plan

- Responsible for P&L of Category including cost, selling price and margins.

KEY DELIVERABLES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Excellence :

- Focus on product category & trend analysis & category specific revenue in order to support business sales objectives. Making recommendations to product development and sales teams, as well as negotiating contracts with distributors and vendors to get products to market.

- Collecting and analyzing data to understand market trends, competitor activities, and the behavior of a brand's target audience are key brand management duties. Overseeing consumer research, tracking the success of initiatives, and keeping a keen eye on developments within the market.

- Identifying products main customer base and determining how to best communicate with it.

- Brainstorming marketing initiatives and identifying appropriate marketing channels to reviewing copy, graphics, and other assets before a campaign goes live. Consistency in communication is essential to establishing brand recognition.

- Overseeing modifications on existing products to increase market share, or suggests the development of new products to attract new customers and meet new demands.

- Strong Inter departmental coordination & alignment with brand communication strategies

- Identify modern communication technology for product category communication and setting up new channels of brand communication.

Cost Management

- Verify product pricing of new product and review of exiting product price constantly.

- Analysis of product category trend & revenue generation.

- Ensure competitive pricing, Quality, moving trend.

- Gap Analysis between the in a house product vs a competitor.

- Tracking customer feedback of brands & give a solution to the various HOD (stakeholder) for brand progression.

- Knowledge -of F&B product category, consumer markets, market trends & identify potential market segments & reach product specific customers by brand communication.

- Excellent Communication- verbal & written, Interpersonal and Leadership skills to deal with Business heads and top management.

- Research experience - gather and interpret market and consumer data to make strategic decisions, so as to have strong analytical skills and be a whiz with spreadsheets

- Campaign management - ability to multitask, develop budgets, KPIs, and marketing plans, and execute projects from start to finish

- Digital marketing - work within new and traditional media to raise product awareness and can competently manage digital strategies such as SEO/SEM marketing

- Negotiation - work closely with distributors and vendors to bring products to market and must negotiate terms and rates
