Category Manager - Internet - IIT/BITS/IIM/ISB Responsibilities : - Identify opportunities for category expansion, create &amp; execute business plans for product / category extensions - Plan and execute TV, Print, OOH, digital campaigns - Be hands on with industry trends, market share positions, consumer behavior trends and use insights to create effective marketing interventions for the assigned brand - Creating effective pricing strategy across categories - Identify and plan for consumer insight generation, monitor brand health, conduct quantitative &amp; qualitative researches along with agencies to bring meaningful data &amp; insights on board. - Tracking brand P&amp;L and do budgetary control to maximize ROI. - The role entails forecasting, monitoring, understanding and reporting on the category. - The role also requires the incumbent to drive strategic projects and promotions to achieve business objectives. - You will have a couple of category managers reporting to this position. - Will be responsible for P&amp;L of the assigned category - Will have to be up to date with industry trends and accordingly align the products in the categories Background - Would prefer candidates from E Commerce startups
