Category Manager - Design - Content Marketplace

About our client:

Our Client is building India's largest content marketplace that brings companies and content creators together to scale up content creation processes across 10 content verticals and 150+ content categories, 40+ content verticals and 40+ global languages.

Job Responsibilities:

- Establishing the entire graphic vertical of the business from scratch

- Overlooking the entire graphic segment of the business end-to-end operationally

- Align the business team on the pricing structure for the entire team

- Consult with the text vertical supply team to create an onboarding structure for the graphic designers including, but not limited to, structures for payments for the same

- Ensuring alignment of all stakeholders regarding various needs of the business

- Enabling smooth completion of all projects by optimizing each segment of the process

- Keeping strong communication with the supply team and making sure that the supply is always in apt quantity while helping the team to maintain quality as well by regular feedbacks

- Having a comprehensive understanding of the demand that is to come in the near future to make sure the team is ready to absorb the same

- Establishing strong protocols for collection of briefs for various types of graphic design content

- Establishing a strong channel with the business team to remove poor-performing creators and increase the overall quality of the graphic designer's pool

- Consult with the product team to introduce and shift the graphic segment onto the portal

- Constantly collaborate and brainstorm with the product team to finalize on the features that are needed to execute the graphic vertical onto the platform

The ideal candidate must -

- Strong experience in managing highly fluid work environments and in managing multiple at the same time

- Have experience of the graphic and the content industry along with the freelancing scenario in India

- Deep understanding of how business processes can be set up and integrated into tech products

- Positive thinking problem solver; flexible about all actions

- Solid foundation in the deployment of scalable, low-latency, and highly efficient operational processes.

- Team player, an ability to work cooperatively with the other engineers.

- Stronghold on various developments in tech, industry, and other related fields for business, marketing, and product long term initiatives.

- Strong business and product acumen to be able to solve business and product problems enabling

- Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure environments with limited information.
