Category Manager - Content Marketplace

About our client:

Our Client is building India's largest content marketplace that brings companies and content creators together to scale up content creation processes across 10 content verticals and 150+ content categories, 40+ content verticals and 40+ global languages.

We are looking at getting someone to manage the language segment and scale the vertical from scratch. This would involve setting up a network of creators, reviewers, and editorial individuals for all prominent Indian languages and global languages. This would involve strong interpersonal communication skills and the drive of - Getting work done!-

Job Responsibilities:

- Managing the entire language segment of the business end-to-end operationally

- Ensuring alignment of all stakeholders regarding various needs of the business

- Enabling smooth completion of all projects by optimizing each segment of the process

- Keeping strong communication with the supply team and making sure that the supply is always in apt quantity while helping the team to maintain quality as well by regular feedbacks

- Having a comprehensive understanding of the demand that is to come in the near future to make sure the team is ready to absorb the same

- Coordinating with the editorial team to make sure bottlenecks are not created in delivery

- Establishing a strong channel with the editorial team to remove poor-performing creators and increase the overall quality of the creator pool

- Consult with the product team to introduce new features or develop on the existing ones to better the entire flow and efficiency

The ideal candidate must -

- Strong experience in managing highly fluid work environments and in managing multiple at the same time

- Deep understanding of how business processes can be set up and integrated into tech products

- Positive thinking problem solver; flexible about all actions

- Solid foundation in the deployment of scalable, low-latency, and highly efficient operational processes.

- Team player, an ability to work cooperatively with the other engineers.

- Stronghold on various developments in tech, industry, and other related fields for business, marketing, and product long term initiatives.

- Strong business and product acumen to be able to solve business and product problems enabling

- Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure environments with limited information.
