Category Lead - Building Material Industry (1-5 yrs)
Hiring for a leading Building Material Industry for Retail business
Location - Noida
1) Lead of Category will ensure that products appear in the right store at the appropriate time and in the correct quantities. This involves working closely with the sourcing teams to accurately forecast trends, plan stock levels and monitor performance.
2) Will be responsible for supervision of number of lines and selection of lines, budget and quantities.
3) Finalizing the product and service offer for the retail business in building materials and allied spaces by closely working with internal and external stakeholders
4) Building human capacity in category management for all the categories in building materials spaces
5) Initiating pilots for private label / own label development for core categories
6) Should have Product category knowledge
7) What margins exist in that category
8) How the building material market operates - how business work
