What does this role hold for you?


We are looking for dynamic, open minded self-starters who enjoy Business Leadership roles and would like to build a Category in an extremely fast growing internet company impacting millions of Indians.

The key responsibilities are given below:

- Driving marketplace growth of the relevant category keeping in mind the consumer and competition. The category head will be responsible for the delivery of its sellers impacting revenue, gross margins, and renewals.

- Conceptualize and own new product development in the respective categories.

- Analyze the traffic, conversions and other data points to help develop the sales plan.

 - Should drive visibility plans, promotion plans and coordinate the same between the internal marketing /product /technology teams and that of the sellers.

- Should be able to fruitfully coordinate with a product, marketing, supply and other teams in the organization to achieve the desired outcome.

- Deliver weekly/monthly optimization and monthly reporting of results against metrics including the use of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Product analytics tools, email data reports, KPI report evaluations, call volume, quality of demand, and demand generated additionally.

- Develop CRM strategies for each campaign and coordinate CRM activity including Buyer lifecycle communication emails, call center activity, list purchasing, effectively manage generated leads from all area of the campaign activity in conjunction with the business stakeholders and overall CRM strategy.

- Adhere to all policies and procedures with regards to budget expenditure, displaying budget control for individual products and courses reporting any variances promptly.

- Actively partake in the running of the department providing ideas and best practice synonymous with a high-performance team.

Apply if you have:

- An MBA & Engineering Degree from top B-schools & Engineering Institutions with 5-8 years of experience in high growth e-commerce/classified companies.

- Strong numerical and analytical aptitude.

- Technical aptitude and agility to learn web-based tools.

- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects.

- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to successfully multi-task.

- An Experience in Sales / Digital Marketing / Product Management will be a plus.

- Result orientation and a strong work ethic of delivering on-time and in scope.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills to manage multiple stakeholders both within and outside the organization.

- A flexible, collaborative, proactive and customer-focused mindset with the ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers and build effective relationships.
