Urgently required - Associate Data Scientist

JD:

In this role, the Associate Data Scientist will be responsible for successful delivery of Advanced Analytics solutions and services in the organization; experience in data and text mining, statistics and handling various tools, preferably open source, like R, Weka and Rapid Miner will be preferred.

The Associate Data Scientist will play a key role in the overall design of the analytics process, use of analytics techniques, gather necessary data and analysis of the same and provide meaningful results and actionable insights within due time. Preferences will be given to candidates having exposure in creating dashboards and having a steep learning curve.

The basic responsibilities include:

- Consult with internal team members to develop analysis that lead to actionable insights that accelerate profitable growth

- Wrangling data from multiple sources including sales, inventory, product, and customer databases to create integrated views that can be used to drive decision making

- Designing and building reports and analysis in Excel and other analytics software

- Plan and implement the overall analytics strategy

- Lead the design and development of analytical projects designed to understand key business behaviors as per client's requirements

- Identify opportunities to develop forecasts, statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analyses to drive client's growth

- Discover new opportunities to optimize the business through analytics and statistical modeling

- Oversee all aspects of analytics and business intelligence projects

- Develop and maintain reporting and analytical tools, including Business Objects

- Develop KPI dashboards

- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

- Integrate web analytics into transactional and customer analytics

Key responsibilities:

- Candidate should have atleast 2 years of experience in related field

- Highly analytical mindset

- Graduate or Masters in Statistics/Computer Science Engineer

- Data & Text Mining, Statistics, Data Analysis, data driven computation are all relevant areas of study

- Experience in use of statistical software such as R, Weka, XL Miner, Rapid Miner for data mining, text mining and other statistical techniques

- Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, interpersonal and writing skills
