Caspian Impact Investments - Senior Associate/Manager - Investments

- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate/Manager to join our growing team.

- In this role, you will be responsible for originating new cleantech investments, managing the existing cleantech portfolio, and building strong relationships within the cleantech ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Business Development:

- Prospect and source debt proposals for Caspian Debt through professional networking and industry research.

- Develop a cleantech investment pipeline by creating and executing a development plan.

- Build relationships with PE/VC firms, banks, financial institutions, and industry associations.

Transaction Execution & Relationship Management:

- Analyze potential investee companies to determine suitability for debt financing.

- Manage the entire loan process, including due diligence, risk analysis, credit note preparation, credit committee presentations, deal structuring, client negotiations, and ensuring timely loan disbursement.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with portfolio companies and implement remedial measures for stressed assets.

- Identify opportunities to support portfolio companies through knowledge sharing and industry connections.

Knowledge Building:

- Continuously stay updated on cleantech sector trends to identify new investment opportunities.

- Conduct research and analysis of the cleantech market, regulatory environment, and relevant technologies.

Qualifications:

- Postgraduate Degree (MBA or equivalent)

- 3-5 years of experience in cleantech lending within Banks/NBFCs

- Proven track record of originating and structuring debt transactions for NBFCs
