About Cashfree:

Founded in 2015, Cashfree is a PayPal incubated start-up which aims to provide a single platform for businesses to disburse and collect payments in India via its Payouts and Payment Gateway products.

Y-Combinator (S'17) backed Cashfree has raised a series B funding of $ 35.5 Mn (Total funding of $41 Mn- Valued at $200 Mn led by Apis partners, South- Korean based VC Smilegate investments. Some of the other investors are Cabra VC, 9 Yards Capital, George Osborne (former chancellor of the exchequer of the United Kingdom) and Vellayan Subbiah (former managing director of Cholamandalam Investment).

Cashfree is currently used by 65,000 businesses for vendor payouts, wage payouts, build refunds, expense reimbursements, loyalty, and rewards. Some of its notable customers include Xiaomi, Tencent, Delhivery, Zomato, Cred, Club Factory, and ExxonMobil.

What You'll do:

- Identify, secure, and manage relationships with clients who have cross border payment requirements, including Indian companies who are into goods exporting, cross border ecommerce, or trading platforms who facilitate investment overseas.

- Reaching out to International companies who are selling to India, including D2C brands, Saas platform, International travel related business who are catering to Indian market

- Research and build out a partnership channel to drive merchant acquisitions

- Working with agencies to identify potential partners and affiliates

- Contribute strategic depth in driving new market development activities (Primary geographies - USA, UK, Europe, APAC)

- Create & articulate compelling value propositions for Cashfree services in coordination with the local and global regulations

- Leading the negotiations and contract development

- Coordinating with internal teams (ops, product, content, and brand, legal and compliance, etc.). Taking ownership of entire cross border business management, operations as well as coordination between teams, and partners

- Pro-actively scout for opportunities in the marketplace through direct contact as well as partners.

- The job will involve building relationships with key players in banks, SME's, financial firms, marketplaces, eCommerce providers and others to generate qualified opportunities, mapping the account, influencing key decision-makers, convincing the client about the value proposition and closing the deal

What makes you a great fit:

- Good experience in business development, account management or partnerships

- Experience in cross border business, online payments (mandate), e-commerce marketplaces, logistics, or ERP

- Proven track record of meeting & exceeding targets

- Self-starter who proactively seeks ways to improve

- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders

- Strong written and oral communication skills
