CashFlo - Sales Development Lead (6-10 yrs)
What will a week look like in this role:
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Lead by example the team's lead generation efforts, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality leads. Monitor and partake in prospecting activities, outreach, and follow-ups to drive new business opportunities.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Track and analyze the sales pipeline to ensure the team is meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and conversion rates at each stage of the sales process. Implement strategies to optimize pipeline efficiency.
- Institute Modern Sales Process: Introduce industry best practices within the inside sales team to boost pipeline, but also maintain and foster the CashFlo brand in the long run.
- Team Management: Lead and supervise the Sales Development team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to SDRs to maximize their performance and potential. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and facilitate ongoing training and skill development.
- Sales Strategy & Implementation: Collaborate with the sales management team to define sales strategies, targets, and goals. Translate the sales strategy into actionable plans for the Sales Development team, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish clear performance metrics for the team and track progress using sales analytics and CRM tools. Provide regular reports and updates to the sales management team on team performance and results.
- Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to align sales development efforts with marketing campaigns, ensuring effective lead handoff and consistent messaging.
- Training and Development: Identify areas of improvement for individual team members and organize training sessions to enhance their sales skills, product knowledge, and understanding of the target market.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine sales development processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and innovative approaches to enhance the team's performance.
You'll excel if you possess:
- Sales Leadership: Proven experience (6yrs+) in leading and managing inside sales teams (leadership experience of at least 1yr), with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of the sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals. Ability to coach team members on effective sales techniques.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with team members, senior management, and other departments.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze sales data, metrics, and reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track and manage leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Performance Management: Experience in setting performance goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations to develop and motivate team members.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and obstacles in the sales development process.
- Adaptability: The flexibility to adjust strategies and tactics in response to changing market conditions and business priorities.
