Role: HR Operations and Payroll Champion You will play a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on payroll and other HR operations practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management. Responsibilities - A deep understanding of payroll procedures and systems. Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data. - Prepare and update payroll records on real-time basis. - Computes employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes - Resolving payroll related queries and concerns of employees - Maintain payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures . - Comply with state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. - Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records - Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential. - Should have a strong mathematical ability and should be comfortable dealing with numbers and finances - Strong knowledge of statutory compliance Preferred Qualifications - MBA HR or MBA Finance OR equivalent - Robust experience in Payroll Space in implementing processes, solution - Experience in Local Payroll laws, tax implications, benefits admin - 3 - 5 years of relevant experience. - Employee-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion - Comfortable with MS Office, must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
