CASHe - Data Scientist (2-5 yrs)
CASHe is a cutting edge FinTech company and a market leader in the fintech lending domain. We are currently looking for data scientists to join our lean AI team, responsible for the core engines driving business decisions.
Data Scientist at CASHe will be a part of a fast paced and exciting environment wherein he/she will.
- Work closely with business groups on complex and ambiguous business problems using an interdisciplinary approach
- Understand the problem area in-depth, map it using a structured approach and identify the appropriate analytical model to solve the problem
- Provide expertise on statistical / mathematical concepts for identified problems and provide appropriate models to solve them.
- Develop machine learning algorithms, often from scratch, to solve the problem area
- Provide subject matter expertise in the Artificial Intelligence space
- Manage and maintain the Big Data infrastructure end-to-end including setting up the instance, cleansing the data, etc.
- Research, design, implement and validate algorithms to analyze the CASHe data and achieve targeted outcomes
- Adopt advanced analytics and data science across the entire breadth of the CASHe organization.
- CASHe AI team is an extremely lean and dynamic team working on developing next generation solutions for financial inclusion in India. Hence the bar for entry onto the team is challenging and high, due to the nature of responsibilities involved in the role.
A prospective member on the team is expected to have following qualifications :
- 2+ years of expertise in development of production AI models
- Very strong fundamentals of machine learning and statistical concepts
- Practical exposure with usage of Deep Learning models in production setting
- 2+ years of experience in SQL and Python
- Experience in working on cloud platforms AWS
- Knowledge of No SQL platforms
Also preferred :
- Experience with using deep learning based frameworks in image processing and object detection
- Experience with working on language models and implementing the same in NLP related problems
- Experience with big data frameworks Hadoop/Spark.
