About Cars24:

Selling a car is outright painful. Right for the very first owner of a car in the 1880s, to an owner today- selling a car has been a disastrous experience. So much for all the advancements that include autonomous and flying cars!! Why is the problem worth solving? First, because you and I hate how we have to sell our car. So if we can fix it, we build a REAL big business. Good news is that given we (CARS24!) already buy around 15,000 cars every month, so we know how to fix it.

Second, this gives us - a supply which is the leading factor in the used car market's equation and we have just started ruling the demand side of the equation by introducing a platform where people can buy a 100% verified used car from CARS24 at best price with no hassle for paperwork!

About the role:

1. Leading a young and motivated city team (up to 100+ people) to become the go-to used Cars Company in different cities while constantly innovating whenever needed

2. Responsible for sustaining and growing the city's revenues with P&L responsibilities. Defining Cars24's strategy in your assigned area and the broader region.

3. Communicating effectively and driving alignment on the mission, goals/ targets, why and how of what has to be done

4. Managing the entire procurement channel of the city (Dealers/customers).

5. Responsible for recruiting, training and performance management of the city team

6. Determine marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and records

7. Interpreting and analyzing data to understand problem sharply and analyze proposed solutions and suggested outcomes.

8. Will be required to work collaboratively with other city heads, and support functions (marketing, finance, HR)

9. Cross functional leadership across various departments

10. Manage and own entire P&L for the region assigned.

11. The goal will be to ensure the profitability of our company's activities to drive sustainable development and long-term success.

What you need :


- 5-8 years of work experience, preferably in a fast paced eCommerce/ internet or retail industry.

- Post-Graduates from a Tier 1 College.

- Looking for a hands-on leader who is willing to get their hands dirty.

- Strong team handling skills- experience in handling a large multi-tiered team.

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development.

- Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques.
