What will you drive?

As the Collections Head at CARS24, you will lead and oversee the entire collections process, focusing on both soft and hard collections. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to recover outstanding debts while maintaining positive customer relationships. Your role will involve managing and mentoring collection teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and utilizing data-driven insights to enhance collection efficiency.

- Team Leadership: Lead and manage both soft and hard collection teams, ensuring effective operations and collaboration across all stages of the collection process.

- Strategic Direction: Develop and implement targeted strategies for both soft and hard collections to minimize delinquency rates and maximize recovery while maintaining positive customer relations.

- Compliance Focus: Ensure all soft and hard collection practices comply with legal standards and company policies, mitigating potential risks.

- Performance Insights: Regularly analyze the performance of soft and hard collection teams and metrics, providing actionable insights to improve efficiency and success rates.

- Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with departments like lending, finance, and customer service to ensure soft and hard collection efforts align with overall business goals.

Who are we looking for?

- Industry Experience: 10-14 years of extensive experience in collections management, specifically within the lending or automotive industry. Proven track record of effectively managing large-scale collection operations, including both soft and hard collections.

- Strategic Vision: Strong capability to design and implement comprehensive collection strategies that address various customer segments. Experience in balancing aggressive recovery targets with customer relationship management.

- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the regulatory environment governing collections in the lending or automotive sectors. Ability to navigate complex legal requirements and ensure full compliance in all collection activities.

- Team Development: Demonstrated success in building and mentoring high-performing collection teams. Adept at fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and performance excellence across both soft and hard collections.

- Data-Driven Decision Making: Expertise in utilizing data analytics and collection metrics to drive decision-making processes. Ability to interpret complex data sets to optimize collection strategies, improve recovery rates, and enhance overall efficiency.
