Position Title: Team Manager
Position Purpose & Summary :
This position will lead and coordinate activities of G/L Accounting team members. Specific areas of responsibility include: general ledger accounting for select Cargill business partners, balance sheet reconciliations, process improvements and ensuring compliance with Cargill policies. Act as a liaison between CBS Finance, business groups and Corp A&F.
Principal Accountabilities :
- Oversee daily accounting activities and perform monthly and quarterly close responsibilities. This includes, but is not limited to, balance sheet account reconciliations and compliance with Cargill policies. ( 20 % )
- Leadership: Responsible for supervision, performance management, talent development and engagement of team members. Act as a resource for training, coaching, and guidance for team members. ( 30% )
- Drive process improvements and evaluate risks while ensuring controls are maintained or improved. ( 25% )
- Problem-solving: With leadership support, provide guidance and support to team members. (10% )
- Liaison: Act as liaison and facilitate communication between CBS Finance, functions, and business groups. Ensure communications with business and functions is timely and transparent. (10% )
- Miscellaneous responsibilities as assigned. ( 5% )
Education, Experience, Skills :
Required Qualifications:- Commerce Graduate, Post Graduate or qualified
- 10 to 12 years of work experience in Reporting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferably CA, B.Com, M.com, ICWA
- 10 - 12 years of experience in finance operation with good expertise in Record to Report and related Finance processes
- Prior experience of doing onsite migration and experience in the creation of effective desktop procedures/standard operating procedures
- Modifications to the PDS template are not allowed unless contractual or legal obligations require it. If so, the modified PDS must be approved by the Policy
- Owner. The PDS may be modified to effectively market the position to external candidates. Substantive changes will not be made to the content.
- Information may also be used for briefing of both internal and external candidates.
- Self-starter with good MS-office skills
- Strong team player and ability to handle tasks under pressure and in a timely manner with required quality

- End to end process knowledge on RTR
- Working Knowledge of ERP (JDE) would be preferred

- Good working knowledge of MS_Office (Word / Excel)
- Good Interpersonal & Communication Skills
