Position Purpose & Summary :

- As a member of the APAC Global HR Solutions (GHRS) Talent Domain team, the Talent Consultant is responsible for delivering talent HR programs/solutions in the domain areas of talent management, career development, succession planning, strategic workforce planning, engagement, recognition and performance management. The Talent Consultant is expected to be an expert a multitude of processes, tools and methodologies associated with these domain areas.

- The Talent Consultant will lead and/or facilitate medium-large size projects/programs, managing client relationships to deliver HR solutions within the talent domain scope.

- In-scope regional talent facilitation services may include but is not limited to - learning and development programs, employee engagement, inclusion & diversity, annual talent review & talent talk processes, coaching and mentoring, organizational design and team effectiveness.

- It will be expected that the incumbent will have a very high experience/skill set/knowledge level in one (or more) major area of this positions - activity/skill set and a wider lesser level of experience in several other areas.

Principal Accountabilities :

- Support the delivery of HR programs/solutions that help Cargill create a talent-based competitive advantage : 55%

- Represent the needs of the talent domain in the delivery of talent program/solution offerings

- Ensure that the organization is providing relevant, effective Talent Management and Development services to business managers within the talent domain and within the region

- Leverage and enforce tools, methodologies and processes to support the effective and efficient delivery of talent programs/solutions

- Work in close partnership with the Talent and Performance COE to identify appropriate solutions, align on solution design creation when necessary, and leveraging existing global solutions and service providers where appropriate

- Collaborate with GHRS Business Relationship Leads, Market Leads, CBS and Business HR, in delivering the - continuum of services- and measuring the quality and performance of such solutions

- Develop, manage and maintain key internal/external relationships, which may include - business leaders, hiring managers, business/function human resource professionals, industry contacts, employees

- Ensure the desired business results are prioritized and the development of organization capability needs are addressed and operationalized

- Provide thought leadership in recommending and delivering talent programs/solutions that build on business and functional strategic drivers considering external influences and external practices

- Responsible for achieving performance metrics in alignment with Global HR Solutions and Talent and Performance COE strategic performance objectives

Provide relevant, effective facilitation services to Cargill's businesses and functions :10%

- Develop and sustain valuable HR program/solution facilitation and coaching skills, and overall effectiveness of teams

- Define and monitor performance and service quality metrics in alignment with Global HR Solutions and Talent & Performance COE strategic objectives

- Provide thought leadership and - out of the box- thinking

- Act as a facilitator to accelerate the development of key talent, increase employee engagement and drive high performance

Champion the implementation of Talent and Performance COE programs/solutions to achieve desired business results and provide an excellent client experience : 15%

- Interface with regional HR Solutions, HR COE's, HR Business Partners and HR CBS centers to deliver talent solutions

- Represent domain in prioritization activities and escalations in the broader market services area

- Provide geography feedback into services priorities to ensure regional and global adoption

- Promote and manage the use and implementation of tools/technologies within the domain to gain efficiency in delivering HR solutions - 15%:

- Champion a strong continuous improvement culture to ensure deployment of scalable, simplified and standardized processes

- Establish a culture of accountability and measurement

- Express, model and reinforce a process-honoring culture

- Strengthen Cargill's employment brand and creating an employer of choice reputation

- Provide thought leadership in driving organizational culture and inclusion and diversity - 5%:

- Ensure delivery is compliant regionally with laws, regulations, and corporate policies

- Ensure application of standard policies, coordinated globally

- Monitor key performance metrics that drive high performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

- 7+ years of relevant business and/or human resources experience

- Experienced in practitioner roles in talent management & development methodologies, tools and processes

- Experienced in learning, designing and implementing new and / or improved processes (both people and businesses.)

- Experienced in anticipating issues, problem solving and implementing solutions, including referring critical issues to the appropriate level of management, and improving efficiency, quality, cost and productivity

- Experienced in establishing and building strong relationships and exerting influence over key and senior stakeholders

- Track record in being successful in delivering results while working independently in a lean environment and handling multiple priorities simultaneously

- Consulting skills which include discovering, diagnosing, solutioning, delivering and reviewing of Talent Management & Development opportunities and solutions

- Worked across different businesses, sectors, markets and disciplines

- Exposure to spectrum of HR areas beyond Talent Management & Development areas

- External or in-house consulting experience

- Project Management experience in large and complex projects - across multiple countries or across multiple business units

- Experience leading regional and/or global teams in areas like learning and development and/or talent management operational teams

- Experience leading resources in a professional service provider organization

- Proven consulting and contracting skills that drive high performance

- High on agility to work across breath of businesses, sectors, markets and disciplines

- High proficiency in the English language while proficiency in other Asian languages is an added advantage

Preferred Qualifications :

- Strong intellectual curiosity to stay abreast of business trends, develop Talent Management & Development subject matter expertise and appreciate interdisciplinary connections

- Strong system thinking capabilities with an integrated solution mindset

- Business acumen to identify Talent Management & Development opportunities/risks and lead/implement interventions to increase efficiency and effectiveness and reduce cost aligned to the business strategy

- Strong relationship building and networking skills to establish and manage influential client relationships

- Strong communication skills - ability to thrive as part of a regional and global team

- Professional certifications in different Talent Management & Development areas (e.g. assessment, coaching etc)

Other relevant information to the position :

- Ability to travel as required, up to 40%, mostly within region as well as some internationally

Career Development :

- This role is a feeder role to the APAC Talent Manager role through capability development and exposure/experience acquisition. This role also allows lateral progression to other peer roles in L&D, consulting roles in Talent and Org Development.
