Supply Chain Manager


JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT:


- The Supply Chain Manager will lead the end-to-end Supply Chain activities for both domestic and export market in India. This role will lead a team of professional to ensure safe, efficient, reliable, and sustainable supply chain services are provided to the CASC India business.. In this role, you will design, propose, and implement logistic and supply chain strategies, guidelines, and procedures to meet requirements supporting short- and long-term business needs.

- This role will lead and champion Cargill's vision and strategy and in particular around Supply Chain enabling activities. This role will build and maintain people partnerships both internally and externally, will promote and role model Cargill's behaviors across being customer driven, fostering inclusion, cultivating innovation, demonstrate agility, driving results and working together.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Lead the supply and demand process and calculations and analytics for the business Ensuring that planning activities maximize the financial benefit for Cargill at the same time as meeting customer expectations and KPI's and leveraging planning tools, data, analytics, and visualization.

- Collaborate with our team to manage key contacts within the commercial team, operations, and transportation and logistics ensuring prompt and adequate response for import / export contracts, documents, regulations, inventory control and reporting.

- Participate on a country or single site team to construct forecasting, demand planning and allocation planning for a tactical outlook.

- Provide general oversight, guidance, and integration of multiple areas in the organization's supply chain such as customer service, supply chain planning, strategic sourcing and procurement, plant operations, transportation, and logistics.

- Lead and develop a team, coach, and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions that enables safe, compliant, efficient, and sustainable execution of grains and grains products through road and rail, warehousing, ports, and toll manufacturing plants. Ensuring tight control of inventory quality and volumes.

- Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's/PG degree in a related field or equivalent experience

- Minimum of ten years of related work experience

- Proven ability to lead teams in a high stress, time sensitive and transactional environment. Demonstrated cultural awareness and competence

- Demonstrated ability to lead the development and execution of a strategy in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and interests

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Seven years of experience with at least three in supply and inventory planning

- Two years of supervisory experience

- Experienced in managing supply chain operations of food grains, feed grains, oilseeds, oil meals & veg oils including but not limited to tankers, truck, rail & container transportation, warehousing, and ports.

- Led commodity operations with focus on cost reduction and sustainability initiatives

- Experience(s) in process improvement

- Able to work autonomously
