Position Purpose &amp; Summary: As a member of the HR Solutions Employee Relations &amp; Industrial Relations (ER &amp; IR) Market India team, this position will be accountable for the execution and delivery of Employee and Industrial Relations (ER/IR) services to the business. Acting under general supervision, the incumbent will utilize their general HR ER/IR knowledge to administer complex processes related to the delivery of HR ER/IR services. Principal Accountabilities: - Serve as a specialist within the HR ER/IR (Employee Relations &amp; Industrial Relations) market HR Solution team to provide relevant and effective consulting services to businesses for Labour Law Statutory Compliances, Employee Disciplinary Process, Performance Improvement Plans, Terminations &amp; resignations, employee onboarding, training needs identification, contract labour management, vendor management - Use general HR ER/IR knowledge to perform HR ER/IR projects - in domain area projects consult with ER/IR Country Lead &amp; Stakeholders; execute the project as per agreed timelines keeping in consideration of business deliverable and industrial environment - Execute the coordinated deployment of HR ER/IR services, including any specific strategy requirements - work closely with business stakeholders, union committee &amp; external agencies for strategic deliverables viz. long-term settlements, manpower budgeting, dealing with low performers, terminations, employment contracts interpretations &amp; any other deliverables assigned time to time - Leverage and enforce processes and technologies to support delivery of services - in-depth understanding of service delivery model, be a champion of processes and lead the site-specific amendments if any - Work in close partnership with shared services (CBS) to deliver recurring end-to-end services and processes - review service delivery model, queries management, either side feedback mechanism, provide feedback in case needs improvement, make necessary changes in processes for frequently asked queries - Develop and maintain key internal/external relationships, which may include: business leaders, hiring managers, business/function human resource professionals, Union Leadership Internal &amp; External, employees &amp; industry contacts - as professional in the area networking &amp; engaging the right stakeholders; may vary from situation to situation and task to task. Leverage the strength of an organization. - Leading the contractor's management, contract labor management, and statutory compliances. Deliver business solutions and advice business on contract management and provide processes and tools of best practices. - Under general supervision, provide consultation to business managers and supervisors regarding the interpretation and delivery of complex HR ER/IR policies, programs, and processes. Be part of the business meetings, provide solutions in ER/IR policies, programs, &amp; processes in consultation with Country ER/IR Lead. - Leading the complex and high business stakes union negotiations protecting Cargill's interest in dealing with unions, govt types of machinery and internal stakeholders - Leading the culture of transparency and ethical ways of doing business and investigations involving irregularities in the location. Change Leader: - Represent Davangere, Karnataka and business clients in prioritization activities and escalations - lead the ER / IR in location and prioritize the business deliverables. Involve key stakeholders for critical &amp; complex deliverables, project assignments. - Provide feedback into services priorities to ensure Davangere, Karnataka adoption - regularly review the service deliverables. Build Regular awareness and engagement programs for technological interventions at locations on the service delivery model. - Participate in CBS Migration activities, shared service consolidation and MADJV initiatives as assigned - maximum leverage the CBS and shared services. Lead the change in location, provide a framework of deliverables expected from CBS &amp; Shared services. - Promote the use and implementation of tools/technologies to gain efficiency in delivering HR Solutions. - Guide/Review/Perform the design and delivery of HR ER/IR training/education sessions for employees. Value Leader: - Using market domain and general HR ER/IR knowledge, provide input to ensure service delivery is compliant with laws, regulations, and corporate policies - lead the labour law compliances and provide consultation, advise to business and ensure the location is fully compliant with the labour laws applicable to the location. - Ensure application of standard policies - Work with country ER/IR HR professionals for any policy matters and have an alignment - legal/business/language/technology constraint with the Country ER/IR lead for any location-specific policy amendment/implementation - Responsible for ensuring proper use of vendor management of HR ER/IR providers - lead the vendor management, service providers management; regular reviews of services, contract/agreements and keeping CSS&amp;P, Finance and user department for service &amp; business deliverables. - Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and standardization on processes currently managed by country and/or regionally. - have regular feedback mechanism and employee connect for continuous improvement in service delivery. Consistent feedback is provided to CBS &amp; Shared Services for improvement areas. - Involve legal and/or external consultants to interpret and implement complex/ambiguous policies. 10%
