HR Operations Benefits Administrator Position Purpose &amp; Summary : As a member of the HR Solutions Operations India team, the Benefits Specialist will be accountable for the execution and delivery of core benefit operational HR services, including benefit arrangement &amp; management. This includes in house medical reimbursement, government insurance as well as third party. Principal Accountabilities : Benefits and Operations Services 75% : - Ensure benefits is processed in an accurate, compliant and timely manner, including: - Management of benefit workload to meet operational requirements - Coordination of the preparation of benefit related documents, including any relevant monthly, quarterly and year-end reports - Administration of benefit plans, compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements - Ensure all benefit information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements, and provide support to internal and external audits - Gap analysis and benchmarking of benefits as per industry standards. - Create proposals for stakeholders buy-in and implement any change in benefits. - Use general HR Services/Benefit operations knowledge to review and improve benefit policies and procedures, interpreting and implementing new legislation impacting benefit practice. - Leverage and enforce processes and technologies to support delivery of benefit services - Promote the use and implementation of tools/technologies to gain efficiency in delivering HR Solutions - Support the execution of the design and delivery of HR Services/Operations training/education sessions for employees, HR professionals, and/or supervisors/managers in the business. - Ensure consistent adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements. This may involve working with legal resources/external consultants/vendors to interpret and implement complex/ambiguous policies. Stakeholder &amp; Process Management 25% : - Maintain key internal/external relationships, which may include business leaders, hiring managers, business/function human resource professionals, industry contacts, employees. - Champion a strong continuous improvement culture to ensure deployment of scalable, simplified and standardized benefits programs across Cargill. - Establish a culture of accountability and measurement - Express, model and reinforce a process-honoring culture - Ensure the desired business results are prioritized and the organization capabilities are operationalized (HR integrator). - As part of the HR Solutions network, and cooperating in synergy with the other members of the GHRS India team, the role is crucial for supporting and implementing the HR services delivery model. - Minimal travel within market location expected Education, Experience, Skills : Minimum Required Qualifications : - Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience - Experience of 6 to 9 years in operations and/or human resources within the country - Experience in employee benefits-India market within various industry. - Have exposure in the area of benefit management in the location and understanding of applicable legislation and complexity - Experience anticipating issues, problem solving and implementing solutions, including referring critical issues to the appropriate level of management, and improving efficiency, quality, cost and productivity - Experience positively influencing and collaborating while engaging the full scope of their teams - Demonstrated basic to medium business acumen. - Knowledge of some businesses, functions, and processes as well as good knowledge of business and functional issues. - Good leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills - ability to thrive as part of a cluster team - Demonstrated understanding of evolving HR landscape and demonstrated potential capability of implementing organizational change efforts - Capability to support innovation and integration of HR practice around critical business issues, and align people, process and structure to support these innovations - Connect with people and understand business strategy Preferred Qualifications : - Bachelors degree in applicable field (.) - MBA in HR preferred not mandatory - Experience in benefit management-India market - 6 to 9 years of experience as part of HR team working with multi-diverse environment. - Having exposure in supporting the implementation of HR processes and client focused solutions. - Experience in a shared services organization - Project management experience - Have exposure in the area of Benefit and HR Operations in the cluster and understanding of applicable legislation and complexity - Consultative skills - Strong drive for results with results/outcome focus - Proven record of implementation and optimization of processes and metrics - Take Ownership and closure of End to End
