Cargill - Head - Supply Planning (8-10 yrs)
Job Description:
The Supply Planning Head will supervise supply planners and lead all aspects of daily supply planning activities. In this role, you will lead a team that monitors key integrated planning performance indicators, cost to serve performance data and help coordinate cross functional work teams.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Conduct performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement.
- Collaborate with supply and inventory manager to ensure appropriate information flow between integrated business planning and tactical execution activities.
- Provide support and advice to ensure appropriate master schedule, material requirements plan and production scheduling activities are performed to meet customer demand.
- Support team through issue resolution process when supply does not meet demand.
- Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring & performance.
- Lead Supply Planning Strategy, network optimization and inventory strategy , segmentation and incorporate other relevant strategies.
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with relevant supply chain experience
- Minimum of eight to ten years of Supply Chain planning experience
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications:
- Four years of supervisory experience
- Seven years of experience with at least three in supply and inventory planning
